Who is Mike?
Mike began his career in the U.S. Army after graduating from West Point with a BS in Electrical Engineering and later earning an MS from Virginia Tech. He served in the Army Corps of Engineers, leading construction projects across the Pacific Rim, then spent 25 years in consulting, retiring as an Engineering Director working on federal programs including satellite communications and cybersecurity.Alongside his professional career, Mike has over 30 years of experience in DIY, woodworking, and furniture refinishing. He developed his skills through hands-on work, military engineering experience, and learning from his father, and now applies his extensive toolset and expertise to customer projects.
Who is Lisa?
Lisa is a full-time mom to our three sons and a clinical psychologist with a PhD from Catholic University and a BS from Vanderbilt University. She manages scheduling for both our family and business, works closely with customers to coordinate projects and gather feedback, and enjoys sharing design ideas to help improve their homes.
